Wireless Networking
Wi-Fi netwoks require wireless network adapters, sometimes called WLAN cards and a central device called either access point or router. This device must be installed in a central location where wireless radio signals can reach it with minimal interference. Although Wi-Fi signals typically reach 100 feet (30 m) or more, obstructions like walls can greatly reduce their range.
One of the most overlooked aspects of Wireless Networks is security. Since wireless technology uses airwaves, they can be easily intercepted, or in the best case, somebody will be ble to use your internet for free. None of those scenarios is good. That’s why in Desert Computers, we make sure that your wireless network security is enabled and also that all the computers in your network are secured.
